Automatic cars are the future
And there are loads of benefits right now

Why choose to learn to drive using automatic?

Automatic cars are becoming more and more popular for a number of reasons explained below. We aren’t exaggerating when we say they are the future because companies like Jaguar have stopped producing manual cars and electric cars are all automatic.

Before you rule out learning to drive in an auto, or discount your child signing up with an automatic instructor, please read these interesting points.

  1. Saves on average 10 hours minimum of driving tuition
  2. Saves time and money as you learn quicker
  3. Concentrate on being a better driver without the gears
  4. No biting point or clutch control
  5. You can’t stall an automatic car
  6. Future hybrid and electric cars will all be automatic
  7. Car manufacturers are ditching manual gears
  8. Since 2007, the number of automatic test conducted has more than doubled
  9. Sales of automatic cars could overtake manual sales by the end of 2019
  10. Improved automatic technology is putting an end to the previous issues customers had with automatic cars

Is an automatic for me?

Although we would recommend automatic cars to any driver for the reasons given above, they can be especially great for drivers that lack confidence. Thinking about the gears just adds to the stress of learning to drive.

We pass many, many pupils each year quicker and more confidently by removing the added stress of changing gears.

It’s two less things to worry about, the gears and the clutch, so you learn quicker!

"Kevin is patient and really wants you to feel at ease when learning to drive. I was a very nervous learner but he helped me pass my test no problems."
